Paul Becker

Director · Choreographer

Paul Becker is a director and choreographer with over 400 film and television credits. He directed the feature film Breaking Brooklyn starring Academy Award winner Louis Gossett Jr., and has directed large-scale live events including the Pan Am Games Closing Ceremonies and artists such as Kanye West, Miley Cyrus, and the Jonas Brothers.

He is currently directing and executive producing LEGO Friends and co-executive producing the upcoming LEGO Friends movie musical. His choreography spans major franchises including Descendants, The Last of Us, Julie and the Phantoms, and God of War, among many others.

Victoria Lambert

Acting Coach · Working Actress

Victoria Lambert began her career as a soloist with the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and was awarded the Princess Grace Award as one of the top soloists in the world.

She went on to build a career across dance, film, and television, appearing in projects such as Chicago, Nine, Enchanted, Ted 2, Damnation, Julie and the Phantoms, and Descendants. Her choreography has been featured on So You Think You Can Dance and The Muppets.

Among her busy film career as an actress, she is also a highly sought-after acting coach, working with a wide range of successful performers.

Who is this for?

This workshop is for Boston dance intensive students, parents, and attendees who want to build their on-camera acting skills in a focused, hands-on setting. All levels and ages welcome.

Do I need an agent to come?

Nope! You don't need an agent. Anyone can sign up.

Will Paul be teaching in person?

Yes. Paul Becker is in the room directing you live, alongside acting coach Victoria Lambert.

Do I need acting experience?

No. Most students come in with zero acting experience. You do not need to prepare anything in advance. Come ready to work and open to being directed.

What level do I need to be?

No level required. This workshop is designed for all levels. Whether you have never acted before or you have been training for years, this session will meet you where you are.

What will we work on?

Scene work, emotional truth, on-camera presence, confidence, and performance connection. Paul Becker will direct you live and Victoria Lambert will coach you on connecting to the material honestly.

What should I wear or bring?

Wear something comfortable that lets you move and feel like yourself on camera. Bring water and your best energy. No need to memorize anything in advance.

Is this connected to the dance intensive the next day?

Yes. This acting intensive takes place on May 22, the night before the Boston On Camera Dance Intensive on May 23. It is a separate event with its own registration. You can attend one or both.

Can I get private feedback or mentoring from Paul?

Absolutely. We can arrange a private Zoom mentoring session with Paul. He'd be glad to offer feedback and support. To inquire, email team@paulbecker.ai.

Can I be considered for future projects?

Yes. You can send your reel, headshot, and resume to team@paulbecker.ai to be kept on file for future consideration. Paul works on many projects each year and sometimes hires actors he meets through these intensives.

What is the refund policy?

All purchases are final sale. However, you may transfer your spot to someone else or use it as credit toward a future class. If we cancel the session, a full refund will be provided. Contact team@paulbecker.ai with any questions.
