Questions
What if I'm scared?!
It’s natural! It’s difficult for us to put into words on this website what happens in the session, and it’s scary for you to sign up for the unknown.
Many students have signed up in the face of fear, often traveling across the world to attend. They’ve made lifelong friendships in one of the most supportive dance environments offered today. If you don’t risk something, you don’t gain anything.
If you’re truly scared, reach out on the contact page.
What is the refund policy?

You must respond within 48 hours of the notification to either confirm your attendance or request a refund. If we do not receive a response within 48 hours, we will assume you are keeping the session, and no changes will be made thereafter.
If you choose to cancel beyond the 48-hour response period, a credit will be issued. This credit can be applied toward any future class in any city and will not expire.
This policy is in place to ensure fairness and accommodate the demand for our events.
What if I can no longer attend my session?
We can provide you with a credit toward a future city, and it will never expire. Please see our refund policy here: Refund Policy

Tell me what is covered in this Zoom Session With Paul?
About the Zoom session that comes with the Intensive Plus—it’s really tailored to what you need. I can cover career coaching, mentorship, audition prep, dance comp prep (including help with a routine she might be working on), on-camera tips, demo reel advice, strategy, planning, career and personal artistic guidance—whatever will benefit to you the most. I like to keep these sessions flexible and personal, focusing on career guidance and artistic growth rather than just another class. Plus, I tend to go overtime at no extra charge because I’m pretty laid back about that!
When will we hear the results of the audition?
This is a common question, especially from parents and kids new to the industry. If you’re selected for a role, you’ll be notified. If not, you usually won’t hear back. But don’t let that discourage you! Keep improving, stay persistent, and continue putting yourself out there—not just for me, but for every choreographer. Just because you weren’t hired this time doesn’t mean you aren’t talented. Keep showing up, because every audition is a chance to grow and be seen!
What kind of shoes should I wear?
Any kind! Be sure to bring runners and any other shoes you feel comfortable dancing in. Always come prepared with a variety of shoes in your dance bag so you're ready for anything!
Will Paul Be at the Event?
YES! He will always be there! he is teaching.
Can I just do the audition portion? ...And it is free?
You can audition for FREE in two ways:
1. Email us at assistant@paulbecker.ai to coordinate an in-person audition at one of Paul’s events.
2. Click on “Submit Talent” at the top of the page to submit your materials electronically.
Why didn’t we hear back after the audition?
With professional auditions in the industry, you’ll only hear back if there’s a callback or booking. Once you get into the rhythm of auditions, you’ll see it’s standard for producers, casting directors, directors, and choreographers not to follow up individually if a dancer wasn’t selected. This isn’t like a dance competition or recital where you receive feedback or results right away—only if the fit is right for a job will you get a call or email.
What can we do in the meantime to help our child’s career?
Focus on training, building relationships, and strengthening her portfolio and skills. Get GOOD so you are undeniable!!!!!!
Can we arrange individual feedback or mentoring from Paul?
Absolutely! If you’re interested in individual attention or guidance, we can arrange a private Zoom mentoring session with Paul. He’d be glad to offer feedback and support if that’s something you’d find valuable. To inquire, please email assistant@paulbecker.ai.
