COMMERCIAL DANCE MASTERCLASS

Get ready to sweat, jam, and dive into character. You will learn a high-energy, commercial-style dance number designed to highlight your raw abilities. Paul blends hip-hop, musical theater, jazz, and storytelling to give you a taste of what it's like working with him.

THE UNFILTERED INDUSTRY Q&A

Ask your biggest questions and learn the exact mistakes that keep talented dancers from booking the job. Real-world insight from someone with 400 credits who is still actively directing.

MAKE A MOVIE MUSICAL NUMBER

Guided by Paul, you will get actual movie scripts, break into teams, and build your own musical numbers from scratch. Experience a fast-paced skeleton crew environment where you prep, perform, and shoot everywhere from the studio floor to outside (even the bathroom!). Afterward, we watch the footage together for a live, interactive critique so you learn exactly what pops on screen.

Learn how to audition without the pressure of being at an actual audition.

Auditioning is a skill. This class gives dancers a safe, educational environment to practice learning choreography, performing under pressure, taking direction, and presenting themselves professionally.

This is an audition class.

It is not a casting audition for Paul or any current or future project.

Like many working choreographers, Paul has occasionally hired dancers he first met in class. You may have heard that, and it is true. But attending this intensive does not place anyone under consideration for a job. No employment, representation, or career opportunity is being offered or promised.

Most dancers who attend are here to develop the skills they will need before they are ready for a professional audition.

Make a mistake? That is part of learning. You will have the option to film the material again later and submit a take you feel proud of.

You are paying for education, not access to an audition.

Any official casting audition for Paul’s projects will be announced separately and will always be free.

Please do not register if your primary goal is to be considered for employment by Paul.

This intensive exists for education, preparation, inspiration, relationships, and growth.

Who is this for?
Dancers of all ages and levels who want to learn on-camera technique for film and TV. Whether you're a recreational dancer, competitive dancer, or aspiring professional, this intensive is designed for you.
Do I need an agent to come?
Nope! You don't need an agent. Anyone can sign up.
Will Paul be teaching in person?
Yes, I teach the whole day myself. You'll be learning straight from me.
Is this an actual audition, and does it cost?
Read above! This is an audition class. It is part of the intensive.
Then what am I paying for?
You're paying for the intensive training experience. This includes on-camera performance, choreography, and working in a real-world, professional-style environment.
Can I be considered to work with Paul if I can't attend?
Yes. You can send your demo reel, headshot, and resume to team@paulbecker.ai to be kept on file for future consideration.
What should I be doing if I want to go professional?
You should be submitting your materials to working choreographers, casting, and industry professionals. That's a normal part of building a career.
When will I get the footage?
It will be sent to each student on a Dropbox, usually the next day after the class.
What should I wear or bring?
Wear anything you want that shows personality. Bring all of your shoes, but start with running shoes. Bring water and your best energy.
What is the refund policy?
Except where a cancellation right is required by applicable law, purchases are final sale. If you cannot attend, you may transfer your registration to another person or take a credit toward a future eligible class in a different city or on a future date, requested before the event begins. If we cancel a session and do not offer a rescheduled date or comparable replacement, you may choose a refund or a credit.
